For everyone's reference - not a comprehensive list, but probably directionally correct
Haven’t worked beside other Capco folks yet, (new-ish to consulting, 5YOE, MBA) but have with kpmg, Deloitte, and EY and have not felt a discernible superiority in any of the 3.
I would say low T2 = ACN strat, LEK, S&, A&M and high T2 = OW, Kearney
OW 2 I agree. It really varies by geography, practice, etc. Between T2s I wouldn’t make the effort of transferring from “low” to “high” unless it has a real impact on the what kind of work you’ll be doing/career goals. Prestige-wise it’s not really worth it

Guess it kind of depends on what you classify as “low end” and “high end” T2
No.

Lmao all the D engagement w this post to somehow ensure a spot in OP’s mind as T2
Yes it happens. A lot my colleagues at Deloitte are transfers from other firms. Mostly they came from EY or Accenture, and I know a few that came from Huron and one from IBM
Deloitte must really breed fragile egos
What are examples of low and high T2s, as well as T1s , in your mind
Who decides what’s on the low or high end of the tier? Isn’t that the point of a tier - that they’re roughly equivalent on a given dimension?
