Why are clients afraid of big ideas?
Hi All,
Infosys hr is not responding to my calls or mails now. Without a round of HR discussion, they gave 25% hike on current and released offer letter. Post that HR called to confirm only.
When I told this, she gave her phone no and told to contact her next day. But no luck till now.
Can someone from Infosys help here, whom to contact. I have mailed recruitment team last Friday, yet to receive a response.

What I did was organize..
- made a list of agencies I wanted to work with (pharma agencies for example).. and hunt down contacts on linkedin.
- I also made a list of the top ad recruiters (a goal of mine is to get noticed by them)
- and then another list full of third-party recruitment agencies (fallback option)
- I also (whenever I can) feed leads to others who are in desperate need of work. They sometimes feed leads back to me as well. Help other freelancers whenever possible.
it’s been paying off a lot!
plan & organize
I applied directly to some tech companies and was surprised to hear back for almost all of them. I’m currently doing rounds of interview. Don’t give up! ✨
For what types of roles?
I think this is wise and believe that your chances getting in somewhere are drastically higher by getting in through new connection vs job posting. Postings feel like a black hole right now.
I stopped about a month ago. It became pretty demoralizing but mentally started to wreck me even though there's so much out of our control rn. I started seeing some recruiters let go at the same time which wasn't encouraging.
I started reaching out directly to recruiters and old contacts just for general chats and that's led to more potential projects. Still nothing confirmed but thats given me more optimism.
Agree
It’s hell on earth.
Been reaching out directly to recruiters at agencies and brands to present myself in a flexible manner. Hoping something shakes out, even a cost consultant role would be fine. Shelter in the rain. Would love to hear more strategies. Agreed it’s literally the worst time ever to find work - I was very busy as a freelancer for years and now I wish I had gone staff anywhere. It’s been months.
I'm trying everything I can. Never been great at freelancing but I don't have a choice now.
I hit up everyone I know and chat, reference agencies I've been in contact with at some point, check the news in adweek, etc.
New approach is going to be updating my website and trying to network through IG.
Why not do both?
In that case, I think you have answered your own question...
I’d do both
Always do both.
Smart.
