I've stopped looking for roles on job boards entirely. Barely any of the postings ever got back to me before C19 hit, and now with thousands newly unemployed creatives fighting for every available role I figure my effort is better spent in reaching out to my network. Anyone here agree/disagree?

Interviewing for an account executive position at a marketing agency and they are asking for a salary range following my initial interview. I was making $62k at my last job which seemed severely underpaid, especially in Los Angeles. I would be fine with $85k but would definitely be more comfortable with around $92k. Does anyone have insight of what the best response of a salary range would be?

I don’t want to under ask but I don’t want to lose the opportunity by asking for too much.

I currently make $65K as a Marketing Science Analyst. Started in July 2021 and have excelled beyond my and my superior’s expectations.
I love my job! However… I’m very underpaid when compared against local and national avgs for my role and responsibilities.

I live paycheck to paycheck (follow a budget/no wild spending.).. living wage in Nashville is 85K. I *need* a raise otherwise I will have to work a second job. Is it too soon to bring this up after working less than a year at the company?
